Welcome to SYCNNO!
SYCNNO was officially established 15th of May 2008. It is a volunteer organization run by youth from China and Norway.
The name SYCNNO, is put together by Shou You (sign language in Chinese), China (CN) and Norway (NO). It is meant to illustrate that our organization is a cooperation between Chinese and Norwegians, focusing on the situation of disabled in China. Read more..
SYCNNO's main objective is to provide opportunities for the disabled to integrate and assimilate themselves into society.
We belive that lack of contact between people with disabilities and others may result in discrimination against the rights of disabled people.
We want to contribute to changing this through making persons with disabilities more visibile in the society. Read more..
In September 2008 SYCNNO's virgin project - "Together to Beijing" - was launched. 11 deaf and 4 blind students from Ningxia Special Education School travelled to Beijing to experience the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games. Read more..

Qin Wen has organised an activity in Yinchuan on an early spring afternoon. On 11th of April she invited the deaf students of the Ningxia Special Education School for a Kite Activity. Together with some volunteers her and the deaf students went to a park playing with kites. Photos will come shortly....
